What is your favorite combonation for Timber Frame buildings.

I voted Black with White. It is the most cost effective way to build one of these houses. That doesn't mean I don't like other colors, I have Brown and tan, Black and Tan, Black and Yellow and Black and Red houses in my village. I quite like the Brown and Tan house, but it was awful expensive compared to a Black and White house.

Er, uh, Black and Tan that is, if you're under 21!
I think black & white looks a little too pristine for the medieval period. Brown and white looks pretty good--more timber-like.

Ah - but you forgot styles...
I think my favorite style is the brown rounds timbers with tan daub, over a mottled light gray with touches of dark gray base. I really like the unusual shaped ones. not just rectangular. more organic looking.
