Hockey! (A town custom by Brian) (A tribute)

Post by Barbapple »

Hockey! You gotta love it.
Go Canucks go!
Without anymore jib-jab, here we go!

A tribute to Vancouver's goalie, #39, Dan Cloutier!

There's Dan-Da-Man, skating before game-time, doing his warm up-thing...

The real deal. Danny. Da Clouts.

Anyways, this is the first of many.
I plan on doing most of the canucks team, some team photo's, the stanly cup, and farther down the line, Highlights from real games :P

I would like to point out the 1x1 round black skates :D

Do I ever rock 8)
Let me know what you think!

PS: I am Brian Gibbons. The King of all things Hockey 8)

I don't know if you intended it that way, but the term that comes to my mind is funny.

And VERY, VERY Canadian.

Good job.

Yes, very good. I won't say if I like this team better than others. And please, to all people, lets keep doing that.

Awww, where's the fun in that? What's a little trash talk between hockey fans? :)

This brings to mind several thoughts:

-If your Lego hockey team touches the Stanley Cup before they earn it, does that mean they're doomed to never win? (BTW, in the US at least the new NHL Championship Challenge came with a free Stanley Cup that was pretty cool--in chrome!)
-I hope you'll stick to some of the highlights of real games--Vancouver's had too many lowlights lately!
-What piece best suits Marc Crawford's hair?
-Hey, at least you only have to design the Sedins once!
-Keep your Stanley Cup away from the Vancouver baggage handlers...

And finally:

-DON CHERRY CUSTOM STICKERS!!!!!!

Alright. Start at the begining...
Trash talk is good, but not to heavy. Go Nucks. Cup Crazy.

Don't worry, My lego team will not touch the cup before the real nucks do. But that is gonna happen pritty soon....

Just ask formie...I've already planed to make highlights!
like the goal by Cooke with 5.7 seconds left...
The save by Cloutier on Al Maccinis' Penalty shot
Ruutu, and all his annoying antics...

As for Crawfords hair...err....lets just not think about that...

I've already designed the Sedins...er...Sedin....Go Hendrik...

I read about the Stanley cup being lost...never fly Air Canada :P

And why would I do don cheery stickers? :P I'm not a Toronto fan.....plus I don't like plad :)

Well, it's great to have a hockey fan (almost) as big as me on these forums!

Haha very nice... But looking at your info, you're in Saskatchewan. Why do you like the Canucks, when the Oilers and Flames are closer?

AWESOME

I want those stickers. I really really really mean it. Being a 'Nucks fan in southern Ontario is like purgatory. They cheer for the Leafs around here.

Excellent start on equipment. Can you show more photos of how it all comes together? What are you going to do about sticks? What face will Bert get?

Alan

PS Thanks for making my day

It's not all about location. The 'Nuckies are better :D
I don't know why I like them, really, but I've liked them as far back as a can remember...when they were a bottom dwelling team, before they became the powerhouse they are today! Thanks for the kind comments

Thanks
It's good to meet a Nucks fan! And it's good that you cheer for us 'Nuckies, cause the Leafs arn't all that good

I'm not sure on the faces for Bert, Linden, or Nazzy, but it'll all come together....

Send me a PM of what you wanna see closer in the pictures, or any stickers you want, and I'll give em to you!
