I'm thinking I'll stock up, seeing as how series 10 and 11 are shaping up to be HUGE army builder sets.

Oh why Facebook, does someone know if these are somewhere else

Is that the new LOTR/highlander sword? Or something else

It looks shorter, i think it is the gladius.
But so agreed with AK, these are so gonna go like cold lemonad on a hot day in the castle community :D

Looks like we have official confirmation! I'll go ahead and update the wishlist! I can't see the Facebook pictures--does the fortuneteller look like a stereotypical Gypsy at all? Could Maid Marion count as a Princess?

Try this.

Anyway, this at least confirms that the list is legitimate. Of the figs I'm interest in, there's a couple (Hero Knight and Cyclops) I'd like to see the front of before I pass final judgement on them.

Luckily, we haven't much longer to wait - the FB post said that there'd be more pictures on December 3. :)

I'm actually a little bit disappointed with the Knight, as apart from the assumed new printing, it doesn't look like he has any new pieces. There had been a rumour that he would have the Evil Kinghts Helm but in silver, which would have been great for army building. I find the visor helm a bit more specific to mounted knights... but perhaps I'm being too picky :P

I had a thought about the large cyclops head, and wondered if it fits over a minifig 'head' that has an eye printed on it? Would make for great posing, by being able to rotate the 'eye' (minifig head).

I guess the Maid Marion lady will be a 'forest maiden' or similar, but being able to get more of those longbows is always good.

Not that fussed about many of the city figs, though the Judges wig and gavel (hammer) will probably be put to good use. Any else think he's got the short style legs??

I will be gunning for roughly 15ea of the Knight, Maid, and Cyclops. I was hoping for a large shield, but the visor is a welcome addition imo. It seems as they could have done something different with the sword, but I will take it!

Assuming these are legitimate, then we castle builders should be pretty happy!

For your viewing pleasure, I present to you (via Whitefangs review on Eurobricks...)...
The forest maiden

And the heroic knight (crownies for the win!)

4) The brave Heroic Knight by WhiteFang (Eurobricks), on Flickr

Interesting that they used the new greatsword (?) Appeared in some of the Kingdoms Chess Sets I believe.

6 knights (yay!), but only 2 maidens (boo!) per box.

Some other great figs, such as the cyclops, caesar and fortune teller (though not so keen on the promotion of tarot reading...?!) and a couple of 'meh's (transformer looking space mech thingy).

I still think they're being released too soon after each other though!

That knight is beautiful! Very nice for me as well as I missed the majority of the Castle theme :D

Yeah it's interesting they chose to use the crown, rather than the more recent Lion, or even something totally new. The armour looks ace, but part of me would have loved to see a new emblem so with a bit of helm mixing they could have been a whole new faction.

Apparently the forest maiden's hair is rubbery, which should make feeling the packet a bit easier.
