Ohhh...new train set with DARK GREEN!

Post by Lord_Of_The_LEGO »

I love TLC.

First they (will) give us a remake of the Sealiner set in dark blue, then they give us Ogel/Vladek sets with dark red parts, and now they have a train set in dark green!

It looks like some of the dark green parts are swirled with white (some of those wedges), but this probally will be fixed when the set is actually released. More cool stuff: almot no bleys, lots of black droid arms, more orange, and a new 1x1 45 degree slope that I think is built into the 'nose' of the train.

Three cheers fot TLC!

Those of us who went to BrickFest saw this and took pics. I didn't bother taking any as others were already doing it. However I WILL remake my Chinese super-tank MOC in dark green.

Dark green will be a nice colour to have.

Still, I wish that we were seeing more sets with lots of a basic colour, rather than a new colour every other set, and not predominantly at that. Its kinda hard to accumulate enough to build anything....

well - it's cool and all, but I don't really think I'll be getting this anytime soon. For the forty bucks I'd probably make a BL order.
It is a nice set though for train enthusiasts.
Interesting colors, nice shape, etc.

Actually, those are white parts with dark green spray paint on them.

The final version will, of course, use real dark green parts instead of painted white parts.

It is a neat set. I may buy it for my brother for Christmas or something.
