Hey
The images of the 10th series have been out for a while already but today GRogall over at EB revealed a official image of the real minifigs
Whitefangs awesome Review on Eurobricks
Will be out in April/May
"EDIT"
Seems to be out now, atleast in Europe

Image

I like the looks of the warrior women, medusa, roman commander but some of the others are also useful as parts here in the castle community
The revolutionary soldier is also great and will be a nice addition in the pirate community, they will go crazy about that wig :P

Couple question comes to mind though, does people get intrested of these minifigures any more and are they coming out with a pace too fast?
What´s up with the 17th secret golden fig, TLG announced somewhere that 5000 of them gonna be put in boxes around the world.

Also TLG is releasing an Minifigure Character Encyclopedia based on the CMF serie figures. It will be packed with biographies, accessory information, fun LEGO® facts and an exclusive toy soldier minifigure wich we have seen some images of when the rumors about series 10 arrived.

Already, I just got my hands on the 9th series a few weeks ago.

The gold guy is pretty goofy looking. Medusa, Colonial Soldier, Roman, Sailor and Boudaccia look like the best of the line. The paintball guy might be useful for a sci-fi MOC with the green stuff all over him.

That picture makes the skydiver look like he's really into honey...

Warrior woman is going to be a must-have. Same for the Roman, as that torso looks like it will be awesome when you swap out the arms and legs for more "traditional" castle parts. I will also likely pick up at least one Medusa, a grandpa or two (finally a "balding" head for our senior castle citizens!), a native American (black mohawk and tomahawk might be useful) aaaaandddd fingers crossed for a limited edition gold fig!

Has the seagull been issued in any set before? If not, that would be a great addition to any port town.

These are coming out really fast, in my opinion, but I think that TLG probably has figured out about how long it takes for sales of the previous series to peak (once the initial wave of purchases is done, most people aren't going to keep buying the same specialized figs over and over) and they are trying to keep surfing the surges in sales.

Very cool, very cool. I'm especially interested to see that the Medusa does in fact have a snake tail, since there were questions as to whether something like that would fit in the packages. I'm also really happy to see the Mohawk Indian - beyond the fact that it's nice to get away from the Plains cultures, I've been saying for a while that there should be mohawks in natural hair colors.

Let's see, what else - the Warrior Woman looks great, seems to me that she'll have legs rather than a dress slope, which is good. Most of the modern figs I could take or leave, though the paint-roller amuses me greatly. And of course I'll have to get at least one of the George Washington look-alikes.

I'm definitely on board with the tomahawk warrior crowd, which is really cool because around that same time Tonto will be coming out with the same weapon! :D I really like the Roman, especially since I never got the first one ( ), the warrior maiden, the colonial soldier, and of course grandpa! :P Man, thank goodness there isn't another skate/snowboarder/skier this time!

Yea it would be cool to get one but what to do with it, would you keep it, sell, it trade it?
I would probably keep it, altough i don´t really like the looks of it

No I don´t think so, it is a great extra to the molded lego animal family

Yea the TLG sales statistic team has really done there homework, but from an grownups point of view(my opinion) it is a pace too fast... and maybe a little money greedy but if I would be in charge off a big company like this, I also probably would milk the money cows ideas as long as they sell. :?

Next time i hope for a grandpa, no grandmaa skater/snowboarder/surfer combo fig  :spin:
The Medusa head and torso is also of good use as an orc female warrior

I find myself unreasonably charmed by the bumblebee girl. She's really darling!

But yeah, this looks like a pretty good series overall. Nice mix of historical, mythical, and fun contemporary figures. I'll post an updated wishlist later tonight!

Good grief, I haven't even found series 9 yet. Are they at Target yet?

This series looks great. They've been doing a great job with this line.

These are coming out really quickly. I kinda wish they'd slow down a bit. Anyway, it looks like another fantastic series.

I assume the bird is supposed to be an albatross, no?

Anyway, I think this is a great series with a lot of cool new stuff, and cool old stuff in new colors.

However, I would think it best if TLG wasn't marketing Paris Hilton type characters to children.

No, judging by its size and shape, I'm guessing it's meant to represent a seagull. Fits nicely with the Sea Captain.

Just when I think that I've seen the worst of the CMFs, they go and produce a monstrosity like that 'trendsetter' (as people seem to be refering to her. New hair, but the general print/design looks hideous (and makes the s9 fairy, s8 downhill skier, s5 dancer look good).

The Centurion looks great, and glad the Medusa has the snake tail. I assume the Centurion's plume will be a seperate piece in addition to the current roman helmet.

Guess we'll see these appearing around April (despite the fact that my local stores have an abundance of series 9, or have just given up on selling them).

Here's a fun thought...you know how the earlier Collectible series included a bunch of monsters, many of which re-surfaced in Monster Fighters?

We've been seeing a lot of Romans lately...
