I hope they take a bit to get to the USA, I'm still getting 7, 8, and 9.

Book is pre-ordered! A Toy Soldier was one of my personal desires for them to produce; there was no way I would pass it up!

Getting more and more excited about Series 10 as well. I'm still totally in love with the Bumblebee Lady. Such a creative idea and she came out so cute!

I didn't forget ya. I was hoping you would be sleeping 'til Series 11 came out.

Thanks for the link.

That Roman Commander is great. Had he come with a shield, he probably would have been the greatest CMF to date, by far.

Is there a case breakdown anywhere yet?

General Statistics for Minifigures Series 10 by WhiteFang (Eurobricks), on Flickr

6 Romans! Woohoo! I would have happily seen 4 skydivers in an exchange for 4 of one of the '2s' (maybe the grandpa or Sea Captain), but generally looks acceptable (unless you were planning on army building Medusas...)

Six Mechanics and six Skydivers...? :? Well, at least there's 4 or 6 of all the ones I want multiples of; Roman Commander, Warrior Woman, Revolutionary Solider, Tomahawk Warrior, and Baseball Player. :D
What I'd like to get:
Roman Commander x5+ Wonderful minifig, one of my favorites from the entire CMF line so far, if a shield had been included I would have wanted even more!
Warrior Woman x5 Beautiful shield and and a gold-tipped spear, plus the leg print is really useful. Glad I won't be buying her just for the accessories, like Viking Woman...
Tomahawk Warrior x4+ Great minifig for Western MOCs, the more the better!
Skydiver x1 Dual-sided face, One concerned and one determined, would have made me get two-three of him.
Paintball Player x1+ I really like this guy, but not sure if I want more than one.
Sea Captain x1-2 The seagull and printed arms is what draws me to this minifig
Revolutionary Solider x5+ I think this is my second favorite Series 10 minifig.
Baseball Player x1+
Decorator x1-2 For the paint roller handle(Am I the only one thinking of the possibilities for that thing. :raiseone: ) and bucket.
Motorcycle x1 Not even sure about this one, not to concerned if I don't get him.

I sure hope, for the sake of my piggybank, that Series 11 is really bad and contains few to no army builders... :tasty:

I just received 3 of the Roman Commanders that I ordered via E-bay a couple days ago ... as much as I would love to dissuade folks from buying them in order to leave more for me, I can't. They are a great fig. I have 11 more on the way and am waiting patiently for my local stores to get them. I'm glad there are 6 per box as opposed to the 3 per box for the Series 6 Roman Soldiers. I finally did a count last night and have 340 Series 6 Romans, and plan on using most of the Series 10 Romans as cavalry (I'm going to force my medieval knights to give up their 200 or so horses). If only I could win the lottery and assemble an entire legion :D

You sir, are my hero. 340?! How did you find so many? Bricklink is ridiculously gouged price-wise.

Cannot wait for series 10 to pop up!

rboettcherjr,

I obtained most of them by scavenging every Target, Walmart, and Toysrus in my area on regular basis, in addition to the areas my work took me to. I always left a couple behind in order to give others (hopefully kids) a chance as well. It stunk there were only 3 per box. It was always fun and satisfying to hit a winner (I learned all the various dot codes and verified by "feeling" the spear). I also perused e-bay and bricklink on a regular basis and usually bought those I could get for about $7 or less at the time. Series 10 Roman Commanders are all over Bricklink and ebay now. I have 130 in hand or enroute ... most for only ~$4-4.50 each. More per box is a great thing. Wish they had a shield, but the cape is nice. Also wish the helmet was "shiny" like they were on the Series 6 Romans. If only I bought lottery tickets ... if I won, a full 4000+ strong legion would be on my "to do" list (even though I would get many eye rolls from my otherwise very tolerant wife ).

Did anyone on here get a gold fig? I got one at my local TRU strangely enough (I thought employees generally went through first to see if they could find one) and then sold it for $700, which was nice for my tuition funds. What luck have people had?

You know, this is being debated all over about why LEGO has failed with this promotion. They are calling ebay the Mr. Gold tracker and there are A LOT of people extremely angry about the whole thing. There are lots of people who work for the stores snagging the figs, store owners weighing boxes to find the fig, etc. I'm not sure I would call it a fail, but I do find some of the things going on a little shady.

Personally, I find that fig ugly. I have zero use for him and just don't want or need him. If I found one, would I sell it? Eventually, but first I think I would check with my friends to see if anyone wanted him...because if someone does, I'd rather he have a happy home and be used. But that is just me.

I have yet to find any series 10 figs, but then I haven't actually seen any series 9 figs in stores. I will end up ordering my box of 30 of bricklink and be happy with it. And if Mr. Gold ends up in my possession...which I highly doubt...I am sure I will have a few friends who will be happy to have him.

Dibs! :D

Actually, I feel the same way. I'm not super interested in him either. And if I could get $700, I'd be hard pressed not to sell him and turn that money around to buy some LotR sets.

Yeah, he's not that cool a figure. The golden staff was the nicest part, but the rest wasn't very useful. I'm glad I got it at an early stage before the price went down. The Medusa/Warrrior Woman/Roman/Mohawk were the ones I wanted the most, actually. I found Mr. Gold while trying to find a Medusa. "Daheck, this part doesn't feel like it's from any of them... OH!"
