I know most people use briskshelf (myself included sometime) but since BS has been going down more often then usual I've decided to use my own server. That bring me to the question.
Do the picture on my server take longer to load than those on Brickshelf?
Me being local to my server I can't tell. If they DO load faster I offer this to others... I can offer a some space on my server. Something to the extent of .com/cc/..../.jpg Small thumbnails or the like to posted as [img] tags here.

Let me know what you think.

Hey Fred,

It seems to load a little slower than Brickshelf. With Brickshelf the pic loads immediately when you click the thumbnail. With your server, I can see the pic as it loads (that is, the top part appears and the rest fills in). All within a second, but enough that I can notice it. However, the difference is so minor as to in no way outweigh the stability of having your own server.

One suggestion--you might want to divide the photos into LEGO and other. As it is I'm sort of randomly clicking through dates to find either your creations or your family.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been thinking of redesigning the site a bit to aleviate that problem, my parents said the same thing.
On a side note, is there a way I can distribute 1 or 2 files (update .swf files) to all those sub folders at once? There is something like 2500 pics of Lego creations on my site and the new menu is the best way to reorganize them for easy browsing.
