Hey guys,

I know this is really late notice, but I missed the original notice. There is a Brickset contest to build a Mixel beast. One category asks you to combine three Mixels sets of the same color, and the other category asks you to combine any two Mixels sets. Unfortunately the deadline is tomorrow (technically midnight England time between April 2 and April 3, but that's early tomorrow evening for us in the US), so you basically just have this evening to build, photograph, and post your entry. Fortunately, if you already have some Mixels sets, these are pretty small, and it is reasonable to build a nice little monster pretty quickly. The prizes are nice, so if you've got Mixels at home, I'd say give it a shot (or stop by a store and get some on your way home - those sets are cheap and those ball joints are really promising parts).

So I ended up getting Zorch, and I think it was totally worth £3. Small ball joints, eyeballs, brackets, Large flames, that's pretty good for a set that small. I already took it apart and built a small mech with the ball joints. Go pick up one, they have some very nice pieces. :)
