something I made...

Post by Loneranger »

I made a mech today (I'll have better pics later, it looks like crap the way I took the pics :p) it isent supposed to be a castle mech but I put a knights helm on it and it looks pretty cool. I also gave it a (some what) sword.

It has a neat shape, but it's definitely too thin to be used as a castle mech. I imagine a medieval/fantasy mech would be bulky and crude looking, and also your mech's torso doesn't look large enough for a minifig's body (not that you would need to put the body inside the creation if you're not going to be able to see it, but it's tough to believe that a person is inside controlling that thing).
On the other hand, I think that the body (if bulked up in the right places) would be perfectly suitable for some sort of organic monster. The pose reminds me of the trolls from Warcraft.
It also looks great for a space creation, but if I reviewed it as such, we'd be posting in the wrong forum.

Hey,

It looks great, though I'd like to see you bulk up the torso some. How did you make the elbows?

Rrriiiighhht. If you say so  Seriously though, it does look good. Mecha's are actually neat IMHO. Not that I will build any, but they are cool. When I seen that Titan XP set released this year my jaw literally dropped

His weapon looks nasty.
