The unfinished MOC/the ultimate tablescrap

Postby jediknight219 » Sat Aug 31, 2013 5:26 pm

I have this terrible tendency to not finish MOCs. Here is a MOC that I started two years ago for the Colossal Castle Contest. The project is still going, it just keeps evolving, so I take 2 steps forward, and 2 steps back. The point is that I finally decided to make some old pics public. For example,

At this point it's largely disassembled, which is why I'm calling this the ultimate tablescrap.

Whoa! That really blows any other tablescraps out of the water! :woo:
It almost looks like Elves could inhabit those lofty towers. Incredible angles you were able you achieve, wow, I don't know what else to say... beautiful. :)

I sure hope this manages to find its way into the CCCXI this year!

Well there is a problem with that. The CCC always has a rule that the entry was not shown online prior to the contest. Will it again this year? One can probably assume so.

The reason this thing never made it to CCCIX is because the plan got too big. So I really don't plan on using it for CCCXI, CCCXII, etc. And any future MOC may contain parts of the towers or similar stairs, or the rose window design, but this tablescrap, as it is, is long gone.

Regardless od what happened to the MOC I feel you should be proud of it. It was a beautiful piece.

Wow magnificent piece! The curves and towers are fantastic! Well done! Too bad you didn't get to finish it. Regardless, well done! :D

This is incredible! It's a shame you never got to finish it. Amazing job nonetheless. :)
