For me, I definitely am planning on going to PAB more often, and less of bricklink. I have a few sets that I want, not to many though. I will mainly focus on PAB this year, as I learned that that is the best way to stock up on pieces.

Just because it's no longer available on lego.com, doesn't mean that it's not available elsewhere (eg Bricklink). You just have to keep your eyes open for a good deal. Who knows, it may even be sat on the back of some dusty shelf waiting for you to discover!

On my list are, some more new castle figures (lions/dragons), the Lego Movie CMFs. A white horse, a dark red hood, white hood, a large hulk!
I do know that you can get it on amazon, but I don't want to spend $40 for 257 parts. When I go to the lego store when I get back to the states I'll ask the manager whether they have any in the store.

People aren't usually buying that set for the parts, it's for the figures. The parts are just a bonus. Of course, you still have to decide what's worth it to you.

It was on clearance at my local Wal-Mart last summer for $21, and Target sold all of theirs. My local ShopKo still has two for $30 each though. Maybe try smaller chains or local stores and see what they have available?

It'll be about 6 months before I get back to the US and can buy it. But it's ok, my life doesn't depend on it, I can just BL the parts I really need.
