A couple weeks ago there was a thread about the LEGO survey and I mentioned how I won and have been waiting for my prize. Well today I got it.
Not bad for 10 minutes of my time. I don't think the prize is dependent on the set you took the survey on (I took it on Ogel's Ice Mountain Fortress). Maybe the age is, I told the truth, and I think they felt that this set most appropriately fits a 24 year old.
Wow, that's awesome. It's not one that I would have chosen, but that is awfully generous of them to give out such an expensive set for such a short survey.

Man you are lucky. The only prizes I have heard of that other people have won are keyrings, nothing big.
I wish I had of filled in some of these rather than chuck them out!
But where did you take this survey? Was it an online thing or was it a paper one that came in a set?
I assume he did the survery from the set.

Now I can have a chance to win something, but of course it is a very slim chance.

Actually, it's one in fifty. I don't know if your chances increase every time you fill out a survey (I fill one out every time I buy a set... if nothing else, at least now they know what I think), or if one one entry counts. It doesn't matter. I still fill them out.

1 in 50? That seems pretty good to me. Its strange that we have only seen 1 winner out of a large group of AFOLs (unless you have heard of others)
Maybe I should try to fill the forms in more often, its time I got some new sets!

Yeah, it said on the website that one e-mail address is drawn out of every fifty. That seems awfully generous though, so I wonder if it matters how many times you enter.

I say that you should type in a set number for every single 2004 set that you get (though if you get duplicates, you might be pushing it if you fill out surveys for every one). Even if you don't end up getting a prize... even if a prize wasn't offered... you're still letting LEGO know what you think, and that's really important in my opinion.
