(WIP) Old MocFiller's Storehouse

Post by SavaTheAggie »

Texas Brick Railroad has a series of MOCs that were originally built as background filler - which we named "Old MocFiller's Farm". But it's proven to be much better than expected, and we're currently working to expand it and improve it.

So as part of that effort, I began work on "Old MocFiller's Storehouse", a run down, dilapidated building with a loading dock on one of our first dedicated rail spurs. It's still a work in progress, but it's mostly done. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

This is designed to be a module, easily "plugged in" to the rest of the layout.

Nice. I think the half-rusted corrugated metal roof looks great. If I had one suggestion it would be to substitute a handful of 1x1 round plates in for 1x1 square plates here and there in the walls, just to give a little bit of roughness to the texture.

I agree with Bruce, that roof is fabulous! Cool color choices for the walls too :)

Nice to see some of your work here again! The mottled look of the walls looks good, and I agree with Bruce regarding the corrugated roof.
