Lighting MOCs

Postby Athos » Thu Jul 14, 2016 3:25 am

I've been considering dabbling in lighting my MOCs. I think I'd like to start with a couple of torches on the exterior of some castle buildings. I know of lifelites and brickstuff. Can anyone recommend which to use?

I've got a bunch of the set lighting kits from http://blinkybricks.com/. Very bright and easy to use. Plus the owner is nice too!

I used lifelights. It worked brilliant for looking like flames were lighted in my medieval light house. Which you can see in these pictures:

I think I have a couple lifelights kits from years ago that I had used for flames in my Troll Roast scenes. I remember that they worked very well.

I'd say on comparison Blinky Bricks seems much brighter.
