Janet Leigh 1927-2004
Hi all,
On hearing of the death of Janet Leigh on Sunday, I put together my interpretation of her most famous scene:
In addition to Psycho, she was also in the Manchurian Candidate, Touch of Evil, and many other roles.

Bates is the name of the villain and the hotel that he owns in the movie Psycho. Janet Leigh plays the woman who is murdered during the shower scene of this movie.forester3291 wrote:Nice MOC. Though I have no idea who bates is or anything

Hey all,
Here's a page that pretty much goes through the whole movie:
http://www.filmsite.org/psyc.html
The old house would be a great MOC:

You'd need a ton of the tall slopes in black. Hmm .. . maybe I'll have to do more horror movies, or maybe a series of Hitchcock MOCs.

Very nice Bruce! (Grumble grumble) I wish I had free time like that! I've never done a bathroom in lego before to this detail. You really have done a labor of a fan. She was in a lot of great stuff. What kind of MOC can you do for one of my favs, Rodney Dangerfield? Or maybe you shouldn't so that he doesn't get any respect?

Very creepy MOC. It really evokes that scene well.
An excellent tribute to a very nice actress, she may not have had a lot of roles, but she was known for charity work and for being a good person. In today's Hollywood that says something.
The bathroom is great as well, I am building a house for my daughter and the bathroom was leaving me stumped, the giant Belville tub is a little too big for minifigs. This looks like an excellent alternative.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

Hey Blue Knight,
You've been reading my brain. This morning before work I was looking at heads to do Rodney Dangerfield. I came up with this one:
as being somewhat compatible:

What do you think?

Perfect Bruce. Now get a town torso, and one of Blasterman's articulated arms to reach the tie, and captions that read;
"Is that a new hat? Did you get a free bowl of soup with it? No really, it looks good, on you." or
"When I was born, the doctor slapped my mother! I tell ya, I never get any respect!"
