I was most interested in the sets with numbers starting in the 59s, as David85 probably noticed from my post on eurobricks.

On page 3 of the September issue of the Lego Magazine, there is an ad for LEGO Hockey, showing a rink with a crowd of spectaters. In the upper right corner (under the word "sports") is what appears to be...Batman. Given that there is a Batman movie coming out next year, and TLC has already done a comic book/movie liscense, I think it likely that this is a "sneak peek" of one of next years lines.

Azaghal,
Good eye, but probably a wrong conclusion. I suspect that the Batman fig you saw was a custom fig by a LEGO employee named Erik, and the photographers were just having some fun. Erik's great superhero MOC is written up here:

This has come up on FBTB in the past. A couple of Erik's other custom figures were in a crowd scene in a previous LEGO Mag.

Since they are/were sold at a REAL Lego Store, I think I can safetly post
this public link. It was posted recently on Brickshelf, and cross-posted
to Eurobricks.
It was posted on Lugnet by the store manager (in Tyson's Corner, VA) that
the fire truck is $19.99 US and the fire station is a mere $29.99 US.
Thanks, Ben.

I expect Star Wars 3 LEGO will come out, but I doubt Harry Potter 4 will be released in 2005, because the HP3 LEGO has only been released this year. I thought the movie wouldn't be released in 2005, but if so we will probably get the HP4 LEGO at about the start of 2006.
All good things must end...except Lego
