BOO!

In the Halloween spirit, I made these three vignettes:

Curse of the Wolf:
As you turn the platform, the moon changes from clouded to full, changing the man into a werewolf!

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Hey, it wouldn't be Halloween without it!

Trick or EEK!
Downside: lonelyness. Upside: You get to keep the candy to yourself. Big Upside.

I really like these. My favorite is the "Trick or Eek!" It really gets the piont acoss withough all the fancy shmancy stuff.

I also like the "Sleepy Hollow." It again is simple yet effective. Gets the point across straight and clear.

Great Vignettes! Hope to see more!

Very much to the season here. 'Sleepy Hollow' is my favorite, it's that headless thing. A very nice brick built tree I might add. The werewolf comcept was run into the ground for me with the Studio sets, so that vignette doesn't appeal to me. The spooky monster is most cool, just the right expression too.

ps Lets see some more vignettes in seasonal settings. Thanksgiving and Christmass should bring some unique settings.

Trick or Eek is really cool. Very much in the spirit of Halloween. Simple, elegant, and to the point.

The werewolf one was clever, but I think the mechanical aspect prevented it from being elegant.

I liked Trick or Eek too, but I really liked the wolfman one. Maybe because I am a fan of Lon Chaney....

nothing beat creature feature on saturday mornings when I was a kid. :D

Those are great!

The best one is that monster peeking around the door.

I'm impressed with the cloud going over the moon. Very creative.

I have to say that the Fishing vignette in your gallery is my favourite. Great job on all of them!

Hey Nathan,

These are awesome! My favorite is probably Trick or Eek - the offset eyes and the hand really make this, IMO. The gear chain mechanism in the wolfman one is really cool, though I think the moon behind a cloud works better than the full moon for me. In the Sleepy Hollow one I particularly like the sign. Something about the angle on the tiles. I'm not sure about the pumpkin-on-a-stick. It's a bit like the monster is fishing for passersby.

Very nice job on those. You used the exact same minifig parts I would have used for the headless horseman (I even bought another Final Duel set to get them, but I have no pumpkin head piece. *sigh*) The werewolf vignette is also very ingenious. I also like how you made the bird perched upon the scarecrow.

These are fantastic! I especially like the Forgotten Harvest one (which isn't linked here, but in your gallery)! And the monster peeking around the door is hilarious. Ah, I love this time of year. Halloween is the coolest holiday...

Nathan all I can say is that Trick or Eek is award winning. It is just so simple yet detailed. You did such a magnificiant job in making that monster that I am going to give you the award.

All three great MOCs! Really great!

"Curse of the Wolf" is interesting...very well done!

I have some issues with your rendition of "The legend of Sleepy Hollow"; the Headless Horseman is a horseman (duh) and he threw the pumpkin from a horse! Another discrepancy is that the Headless Horseman was a dead Hessian (German) soldier, and he wore a uniform. Other than those two issues, great all around.
