An updated LEGEND / CLASSIC list

Post by medib »

Pretty much since the Lego Legends/Classics have been released, I have
been keeping a list.

For Reference purposes, you might want to take a gander at them:

I hope you find it at least somewhat interesting.

Thanks.

Benjamin Medinets

ps. I haven't done a European-based one.

Definitely interesting. It's nice to see the information compiled together. I also learned a lot about the piece count differences. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work, I'm glad to see such a valuable resource available to the community. I'm pretty mad to see that I missed the reissue of the Breezeway Cafe, I have the original but the pieces are heavily banged up from years of use.

Oh, and I agree with all of your Legend wishes (well, maybe if you threw the Caribbean Clipper on there I would :D )

Lots of hard work here, thanks for the resource. Interesting to see how the reissues were so different in small ways.

Its good to have something like this for reference.
I was pretty sure there was another castle ledgend part from the BFF, now I know it is the Guarded Inn.

Before I get too exicted, I thought that the 6080 King’s Castle was under Upcoming Legends but I then realised it was under My top wishes  I too wish it was released as a legend and I'm sure many others do too.

Nice wok there Medib. I never knew that the Pizzaria came out again. Well maybe I did, I can't remember. It great to see a completed list of all the legends. Though I think you might want to add some Star Wars stuff to it. There were several 1999 SW sets that came out again in 2003.

I am surprised that you didn't have the yellow castle on the wish list.

Thanks for your responses.

Robinhood, a re-released set does not a legend make. Only those with
the moniker "Legend" on the box go on my list. If you can prove a
re-released starwars set has "Legend" on the box, I will put it on.

Another guide that I tend to use is Lego Shop@Home's LEGO Classics.
This is somewhat flawed because they have included the Lego Truck
and (still in Europe,) the Blacksmith Shop (which is a My Own Creation and
not yet a Legend).

As far as I know, there is only 2 main catagories for Star Wars:
regular sets and UCS (ultimate collector series). Anyways, this is
off-topic for my posting.

Thanks, Ben.

Ben, I'm 90% sure that the BSB orginally sold for $110 USD. I was actually very surprised that the re-make of it was only $89.

$110 was the BSB's Shop at Home price, but this was back when shipping was included in the cost of each item. The retail price of BSB was definitely below $110, but I don't know what it really was.
