See, I might add myself, but by the time it would get around to me, I'd probably be at university! (1 1/2 years)

Hello!

1. I have problems with international shipping.
You still didn't answer this one: Why do you have problems with international shipping?

Hello!

I am a minor and my parents won't allow it.
And what's the problem with it? Why won't your parents allow it?

It doesn't matter. Both of them agreed to switch. Enough said.
If his parents won't allow it.... it's their decision.

Actually, this way Formendacil gets it 12th and his brother 'Hood (Dan)
gets it 25th, so its more spaced out between visits.
(Which may mean possibly newer buildings between visits???)
The old list had only 5 spots between visits.

This is just my opinion, though.

It does matter. If Classic Castle is meant to be an international site it does matter to me if members are also willing to act "international". And I'm highly interested in the reason behind his parents' decision.

Actually you were correct about the aims of the minifig exchange
program (Henry). Sorry.

The aim of having Henry was to have him travel the world to different
members places.

However, there was nothing in place that said that if you weren't prepared
to "ship overseas" then don't put your name on the list.

I would also like to point that out.

Thanks, Ben

As a parent I too am curious why someone who forbid international shipping? Maybe I wouldn't pay for my kids international shipping, but why would I care if they paid?

It has never occured to me, but I would think that anyone, regardless of age, could walk into a post office and send something anywhere in the world if they had the money and filled out the custom form? :?

I can't think of any reason other then cost.

I think it is much more fun to get international packages! :D

The original idea was to ship Henry wherever his fancy led him. If someone can't or won't ship overseas, then being a reasonable community (for the most part :D ) I am sure we can make a work-around like trading spots.
Eventually I hope Henry can circumnavigate the globe several times... I mean - that's pretty cool right? And I know there is some disgruntlement over time it takes Henry to go, but again, thats just part of it. Let's try to take a mellow approach to Henry. We have time... He is a tiny little part of our community, and our community is one of the coolest ones I have ever been a part of.
:D

Legofreak,

thanks for the "canonized" (1) clarification of the aims.

Ben

1 - as in canon truth or near truth taken from a reliable source (2) not as in
the artillery device used to shoot projectiles...

:D

2 - source being one who owns Henry the Minifig

I would add myself to the list, but by the time Henry comes around I would think that I would no longer live in the city I am in now. I mean, it's quite likely that Henry will take more than 2 years to get through the list of people. I could be quite possibly in university somewhere in eastern Canada by that time...

Not to jump into the catfight here, but I still don't understand why Patrick is on the list AGAIN. I'm not going to make a fit about it, I am just curious.

(pout) Its not fair! The older one always gets him first. (/Pout) Oh well maybe he will have moved away by the time Henry gets here.

Assuming Patrick is Freak (I am pretty sure on that) then i imaging that he wants to see Henry once in awhile while he travels.

Dan
