Stargate - are these rare or custom pieces or?

Post by bannear »

Hello All,
I was looking at this Stargate and thought it would be cool to add to a keep, - even as a doorway - but I am not sure about the pieces used.
Here is the pic: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1173988
The wedge shaped pieces are http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=51739
but I cant seem to find the 1x2 with studs on both sides. Perhaps it is http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4595 modified.
Anybody know what part was used?
Thanks for any info.
SirBert.

Actually, I don't know about the studs-on-sides pieces, but I would almost be willing to bet that the wedges are customs.

They look to me like one of these:

but modified, of course.

Interesting gate though. Never seen it before.

Sir Dillon,
Thanks for the tip on the Star Wars set
The pieces are
Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Studs on 2 Sides (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=52107)
and Wedge Plate 2 x 4 (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=51739)
Cool I may have to buy a couple of these sets to get the pieces - none made in gray though ...
Cheers,
SirBert

Hey,

Cool. I saw a pic of that element on brickshelf the other day and wondered what it was from. I can't find it now, but I did find this pic of the new elements from the SW set:
