Hey all,

Deborah Higdon is a great town builder. Her latest building is this [url=http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=124547]Italian villa:

Lots of great building ideas there. The curved wall and the landscaping are probably the most directly applicable to castle builders.

I love this MOC. It is incredibly realistic, well-built... I love the use of different styles of chairs for different parts of the house, as well as the abundance of nature on both the inside and the outside, as well as the general open-ness with various unclosed portals to the outside. The tiled floor is somply incredible, and the roof's abundance of plat life is splendid. The use of technic pieces and the new 2x2 plates with wings is splendid and ingeneous for the poolside chairs.

The architecture is fantastic; I especially like the staircases and abundant curves, as well as the layout. I only wish she had included photos of the room beneath the bedroom... Definitely a place I would want to visit. :)
