Who would you like to meet?

Post by lemon_squeezer2 »

I've had this idea for awhile, so here it goes.
If you could, who would you like to meet in the CC community? I personally would like to meet DM and Jojo. They both have a wacky sense of humor.

Lenny/Glencaer/Krakhed or whatever his Nom d'Lego is on any given day

Everyone, of course, but probably more so the guys who have been posting on Lugnet for the past few years and I've corresponded back and forth with.

One person I would most like to discuss MOCs with is Takeshi Itou, though I've never seen him in any of the English language forums. Are there any Japanese forums like this?

There are so many people I would like to meet.

First I would like to see all of the other admins of the site. I would also like to meet my fellow Castle set fanatics like Jojo and Yaron.

Other than that, I would love to build castle moc's with other fans such as Dan Siskind, Jon Furman, James Brink, etc.

I'm flattered Lemon_Squeezer. I often go to the LEGO store in burlington, maybe we'll meet someday.

I'd really want to see everyone here. On the top of my list though is Jojo for his passion for all types of lego (not to mention knowledge). And Jason Spears to see if he is actually a human being.

We should all try to meet at a gathering of CCC fans. It sounds good to me.

Well, you've always been the goofball here :P so..

Yes, it really would be neat to see all the CC community in one spot. I saw this site when it was sfirst started, and I joined soon afterwards. It has been really neat to see this community grow the way it has.

Where's Burlington though? The farthest I ever get on a semi regular basis is Milwaukee.

I don't try to be a goofball :(

Burlington is a suburb located near Boston in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Come visit it!

Lemon - you are very close to MichLUG (home of Jason Spears) - and I think there is an Illinois LUG (Chicago, if I remember clearly, is the home of Adrian Drake http://www.brickfrenzy.com/castle.html ).

We should all try to meet at a gathering of CCC fans. It sounds good to me.
Yeah we should - it is called BrickFest DC - and seeing that you're in the Boston Area, you've got no excuses! That should be only a few hours drive. Plus, there is NELUG in your area, and they are a very active Lug that would love to have such an energetic member.

Why thank you. I've worked very hard to become so.

You see, years ago I taught myself to sleep only four hours a night, and I got two 10-hours comedy jobs. I worked very hard at this. Why?

Because of the twentieth most beautiful woman in the entire world - who happened to be a fairly busty elven princess, with long dark hair and huge ... tracks of land.

and on to other items of business,

I'd like to meet all the guys (lets face it, we're not a pit of women here) I've gotten to know - Jojo, Casper, Ben, Jason, James, Freak, Footsteps - etc etc.

I would love to see a CC army come down on BrickFest (DC - in August) and get a 3CS village bigger than the Moonbase or the Trains and really blow everyone away.

But, I must return to day job #2, dread pirate.

Good question.
I'd like to meet any Castle Lego fan of 1984-1993 castle, especially purists and peoples interested in medieval history like me.
I think about some names...

So when is the next one? I will be near Philly in late March.

I gotta say - Pretty much everyone, but Jennifer, Justin, Lenny, Ben E, Sava, David G, Dave O and Jojo top the list. These are the people I "talk" to every day in the chat. Everyone who posts here is great, so if I didnt name you personally - TAKE HEART my comrade!
I am on the west coast, so I doubt I will be able to meet anyone, (especially Jojo or David G...) but still - one of thesed days I gotta get me to a Brickfest.

:D :D
