I'm making an attemt at a large scale castle and am patiently awaitng those swell HP doors. I know you guys collect Bellville so I was wondering if you could answer a few qestions about those doors.
How tall are they?
How Wide are they?
How far up are the clips for the hinges?
Do they work with regular hinges?
Which arch works for the top?
And do you need to use a prefabricated piece to attach the doors?
Thanks so much,
DM

Wow, Matt. That was a huuuuge help.
I can tell you that the doors are 1x4x11 1/3. There is a frame for it, which Hogwarts does seem to have in dark grey. I know I'm not Will but I'm giving you exactly the same info he gave me not three days ago.
Are you planning to build your castle and hope the hinges etc. are in the right place so you can just put the doors on when you get them?

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Hi DM,
And I speaketh unto you...
How tall are they? 11 bricks and one plate
How Wide are they? 3 bricks, two plates
How far up are the clips for the hinges? 4 bricks
Do they work with regular hinges? Yes
Which arch works for the top? either a six or an eight.
And do you need to use a prefabricated piece to attach the doors? No, but the frame does fit the doors with a little less fuss.
The frame is 1 thick, 12 tall and 8 wide.
Hope this answers your questions.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

Sometimes a little contrast goes a long way. The biggest problem for me is that it'll be the new dark grey.
