Thanks, Bruce. Here are some secrets from the "Vig Daddy"... :D
Bruce N H wrote:Originally I hadn't focused on the Scorpion one, as I'm not a huge fan of how you did the fig (though I can't come up with a better non-customization solution)
The truth is, I couldn't either. :? However, what makes the Scorpion a memorable character is his powerful tail, and the action on this vig was what I really wanted to capture. Speaking of characters, the only classic Spidey villain that I chose not to build was Electro... I couldn't think of a way to do the character justice. Moreover, I didn't have the proper head for the Rhino - I wanted to use this one, but I don't own it:

The idea of the Rhino rampaging out of the bank was what I wanted to capture, and even though I did not show his face, I think the action is again what really makes this vig.

Bruce N H wrote:What the heck is the square fist, btw? A pen bead?
You got it! Since the pen is a LEGO "product", I don't see any problem using it in a MOC... and having a stud on the bead helps, too! :D

Bruce N H wrote:How in the heck is the Vulture held up? I assume that there is a support that is just blocked in the camera angles you chose, but it's masterfully done.
I used one of these hinges to attach The Vulture to the building:

When shooting photos, I try to look for camera angles that hide "undesired" parts of the vignette. The last 2 shots of the Vulture MOC were my "Comic Book" shots - that is, how I think they would appear if drawn in a Spider-Man comic.

Sometimes, you get a shot like this (which was unintentional):

I think it looks like a real scorpion from this angle, so I included it. 8)

Spectacularly superb as always Sir Nelson.

I really enjoyed them all althoguh my two favorites were Kraven the Hunter and The Lizard. I was in awe of the consruction of them all, but these two stood out for me with the techniques. The broken wall is done very well, as is the entire "building" it takes place in, and the positioning of the figs, wow!

The Hunter is great, not only for the urban comando, but the walls and the vent really stick out. Again good posing, etc, etc...

Thanks for sharing and I hope to see some more of your work real soon!
