But come on.. lego is meant to be played with!
I agree with Legofreak. I usually take mine apart as soon as I photograph it so I can start on the next one.

It usually takes several days to build a big castle. And then I tweak it for a few more days, rebuilding parts of it. Then I photograph it and take it down. The whole process usually takes about a week.

The exception was The Forge, which sat around for about 6 months waiting for me to photograph it. On the other hand, the Soldier's Barracks was built, photographed, and dismantled all in one day.

I tend to to destroy MOCs ever(1), but I'm running out of room, something will have to give soon.

1 - I often use an interative build process where I build a version, then rebuild it using different parts, looking at the prior version to keep what I like and replace what I don't, and repeat, till I have the version I'm really happy with. So I sometimes scrap older versions especially if they are partial, but I have 3 versions of my PCC (MTW-3001) around because I liked how some of the earlier versions looked!
