Creating Torso help!

Post by Sir Terrance »

I would like to make some custom torsos, but I don't have photoshop! :( I do have a starter edition demo which came with my camera so I can only edit photos, but I can open up Tony's template and convert to Jpeg. But when I open it with MS paint (lack of better program) It gets odd shading in the white (white has whitish pink blotches on it). Should I convert with Gifs or Jpegs and do you know of any programs I can download of the internet to use for my torso creating needs? Thanks.

If your looking for a free downloadable image editing program use GIMP.(http://www.gimp.org/)
It's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. I use GIMP and I recomend it for doing things like designing a custom sheild sticker or torso sticker. The only downside of using GIMP is that it dosen't have some of the cool things that Photoshop has (or so I've heard.)

I hope this helps.

I dont have photoshop either.

What I do to edit/create my own torso's is use flash and the export the image. It works pretty good!

And to get rid of the odd shading in MS paint (before I thought of using flash) I took a screenshot of the PSD, pasted it in MS paint and saved it.

Hope that helps!
