Ow. The moment i saw this, my head hit the keyboard. now that I have regained conciousness, i rate it 10/10. I will now go find something for this headache.

I would have thought you used a modeler's spray-gun to create such a nice finish - I guess you must be far better than I am with a spray-can (can you say 'horrible runs').
I seriously don't have the resources for a spray gun and a compressor unit. Yes, call me cheap.
To get a smooth finish, I overspray the piece just by a bit. I generally use 2 coats. I won't say I'm good at spray painting, but living in a hot climate does help with the finish.
