Wow thanks for the article! This was just what I needed! :D

I have several questions, though:

First, is there anyway to make stickers removable and reappliable without ruining the sticker and shield/torso?

And, what cheap/free program would you recommend for image editing?

Thanks!

Excellent article. I especially appreciate the details on pixels and dpi's, and for supplying the templates.

Do you know of an online supplier of quality sticker paper to print out shields (and torsos)?

Thanks,
Alan

This is exactly what I was looking for when I posted my question on the shield size. Now I know why I didn't get a reply - You covered everything and more in your article! :D
What a great article.
The templates are fantastic (I especially like "Nightmare"), and I can see how they would be a lot of work to do!
Well, thank you for your long hours of work, they are well appreciated![/img]

If you use sticker paper, you can apply, peel off and reapply.

You can put them with yours SavaTheAggie. They are modified from yours.
Hey David, I'm real sorry. After looking at your lion shield design, I realized I had goofed with the claws of the lion. I've since updated my files online.

I'm not sure where the error is. The original official Wolf Pack design has a pair of teeth, and my custom does not ('sans' means without). Was there an official release of wolfpack shields without teeth? All of mine have them...

Hi Anthony,

Thank you for your article. It is well written and a wonderful resource for the community. Now we must all run to bricklink and buy up shields!

Cool article but what I really want is more/different torsos. Any chance of a simliar article on that subject? (Yeah, I admit I am just too Megablocks lazy/afraid of math to try to calculate sizes and ratios for printing.)

Wow, this is great!

A couple of questions:

When Iiprint out the designs, the parts which are supposed to be black end up being white. The dark grey, say on the "evil" forestman shield comes out dark grey, but the black comes out white. My printer is full up on black ink, do you know what the problem is?

Am I printing out correctly?

I rightclick on each image and "save picture as". Then I save these images and paste them into a word document, where I can get them the right size. It seems to work well, except for the black. Any ideas?

Well, for starters, the bottom of a minifig torso is exactly 1.5 cms, while the top is 1 cm.
