King Arthur Conversion?
King Arthur Conversion?
I downloaded the instructions for MB King Arthurs castle. I wonder how this will look if converted to Lego Style. I did get an extra KCS. I hope for two more.
Can you share the link? I'd like to see what this castle looks like~
I'm guessing a lot of this would have to be recreated with smaller bricks.
Although LEGO has made more and more SNOT and etc, they aren't at the level/size of MB yet.

It's a fascinating design. It looks like MB is offering a bit more sophisticated parts selection, but the heavy reliance on POOP's certainly cheapens it. I think that with regular Lego bricks, something similar would look quite nice.

Fortunately, we're still losing that particular race...ottoatm wrote:Although LEGO has made more and more SNOT and etc, they aren't at the level/size of MB yet.
It's a decent-enough appearing castle, so I too would be interested to see what kind of an articulation this might find in "real" bricks. If you end up finishing such a project, definitely make sure to post it.
Agree with Formendacil on both counts of his post - if you make this (or anyone else does) with LEGO bricks, please do share.
After looking at the specs/design, I do believe this could be a good MOC.
On another note, this could also serve as the basis for a basic design, with more creative building going on top of it for the finishing touches~

Hmm, I remember seeing a commercial for this Megablocks set. It was rather disturbing the way they made it look so fun. Gave me shivers really!
Good luck on converting it if you do!

I broke down and started buying these sets in order to see what inspiration they might bring.
I'm here to say after putting this castle together, what a pain in the butt. It looks nice and sturdy but it isn't. Many of the pieces don't connect worth a darn which is a shame because it took forever to put some of the battlements together. LEGO bricks will be better.
I bought it at TRU for 50% off. It did give me some great ideas. But I figure if it wasn't for the massive one piece molds it would have taken foever.
My wife wants to go to the Mall of America for vacation in June. my question is an I better looking for bricks at the LEGO store (never been to one) there or try to buy a few of the new Kings castle and using there parts on this conversion project?
