CCCVI Custom Castle Figure Entry: Voodoo Priest

Post by armothe »

Sorta whipped this up at the last minute and thought it might be worthy of competition.

The torso method was first published by Arealight but used by a few of us (Kam, myself) as well. RedBean made the decals for me.

As Voodoo Priest of the Blacktooth Clan, Ranshalla is responsible for invoking well-being upon the tribe and cursing their enemies through all sorts of mysterious rituals.

Wow! She's cool! I love the construction of the topknot and all the gewgaws added to the staff.

Very nice! Always love your customs.

My only issue with it is that the torso design seems a bit too small, maybe you could try to widen the decal a bit, if you know what I'm talking about.

WOW. Awesome, man.

With the staff and hair/headpiece, this is very good. If I had to nit pick the torso shape is not for me - I wouldn't want LEGO to copy it to save a few cents of material per figure. The torso sticker however is good - maybe a little redder to match the cape. Overall I like this figure a lot. Nice job.

Now this is amazing! The topnot, the ears, the body, the decals and the staff i would love to be able to make this sort of thing. Are any of the parts painted if so could you give me the name of the paint.
