I know this topic is not necessarily new, but I really like the designs you've created. The tattered flag is creative. The black falcons banner on your bricklink is certainly rather inspiring. Needless to say, I think my black falcon faction could use the addition of such a noble flag. Nicely done...

Thank you! I really appreciate it!

"Can you make Pauldron templates? I'm thinking of making a few customs (maybe...)."

I lost the pauldron template I had made before, so it would probably be a while before I remake it. But I'm sure if you search Brickshelf or something, somebody else has done a template for that piece.

Since this topic was brought back up, I suppose I don't need to post a whole new one to show off my most recent designs:

Worn/Tattered Capes
-Black Cross-
-Black Falcon, Blue-
-Black Falcon, Yellow-
-Crusader, Blue Lion-
-Dark Forest-

-Silly Skull, Red-
-Silly Skull, Sand Green-
-Silly Skull, Dark Grey-

I really like the worn looking faction ones the best. They were so much fun to create.
This design here was created by Starchild It, a repeat customer of mine over at Bricklink, who was nice enough to let me put them in my shop. I wanted to post it, since I thought it looks so sharp!

There are a couple new items, too, which can all be seen in the whole Flickr set.

I started to link to some examples in that folder that I really liked, but as I looked closer, I realized there wouldn't be any I didn't link to, so I gave up.

I really love these.

Are the colors (such as the yellow) in the worn ones faded as part of the effect? Or is it just the light in the pictures? Either way, it's cool.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Any plans on doing a scorpion/shadow knight theme?

Image

I've been trying to use some of my Knights Kingdom stuff and I think that the scorpion/shadow knights are the best of the themes. I would love to see some capes and flags for that theme.

Hehehe.. Well thank you!! :)

"Are the colors (such as the yellow) in the worn ones faded as part of the effect? Or is it just the light in the pictures? Either way, it's cool."

Faded for the effect. They just didn't look right with the fresh, vibrant colors, so I made them dull and whatnot for a real gritty look.
I just got a new scanner (I had been taking the pics of my capes with our camera for a while there, but the colors didn't come up accurately), so the colors you see in the pics are pretty much exactly what you'll see on the actual capes.

"Any plans on doing a scorpion/shadow knight theme?"

I actually hadn't thought of doing them (not sure why, that was a very spiffy looking faction!), but I'll keep that in the back of my mind when I design some more capes.

I really like the tattered capes, is there any chance that you could post the layer of the design that has all the mud splatter and the like. (I noticed they all had the splatters in the same spot)
