same here I order everything medieval 10 x, paid already cant wait to recieve them!

Just ordered one of each medieval weapons pack, so now if they do go out of business, I still managed to get some

Just got my medieval weapons pack 1 and thought I would share some observations. The pike is ridiculously long, but pike did range up to 20 ft. long, so that's fine. They threw in a couple Great Helms, and I would warn you all only to use these with plain lego heads, or other heads you can sacrifice, since once the helm is on you probably won't be able to get it off again. I mistakenly put one on a bearded head and mangled the neck pretty badly with jeweler's needle nose pliers getting the head back out of the helm. Boooooooo. As for the weapons, they all look great, but many of them fit very loosely in a minifig hand or other lego clip (saddles, plates w/ bricks, etc.). The viking looking axe and the smaller sword are the two that fit the tightest. The two handed sword, the pike, the dagger, the flanged mace, and the scimitar are all a very loose fit. They also threw in a couple medieval weapons pack 2 and they seem to have a better fit in general. All of the weapons in both sets come still attached to their inject molding frames. They all snap of with relative ease with the exception of the long sword in weapons pack 2, which has a very small and fragile cross guard. The tip of the cross guard is one of two points where the sword is attached, and it's very difficult to break that connection without damaging the cross guard.

All in all I would have been much happier with all of the products if a) they had better fit, and b) they were dark grey instead of black as I think they would blend better with the Lego brand weapons if they were. As they are I'm glad I bought them, but wouldn't purchase any more unless those issues were fixed and they were available in dark grey.

I have the same problem with BrickForges Great helms and my tip is to put the head into a lego goblet and pull it works for me.

I have the same problem with BrickForges Great helms and my tip is to put the head into a lego goblet and pull it works for me.

Thanks for the tip. I've got their great helms as well, and they're not near as tight as the Little Armory helm.

That is very odd. I have some as well and they are not near so tight that I had to use any tool to get them out. It is somewhat tight but I just have to twist it slightly and it comes off fine. I wonder if you could add a slight amount of oil to the very top to counter this issue?

I really like my LA stuff and would buy more if I could. Their 14th century armour kit is great for outfitting a knight.

My main beef with LA weapons is that they are attached to a sprue. I ruined the cross-guard on one of my long swords when I cut it off. Rather annoying. I have a set of the armor as well, but I've never used it. I keep forgetting to buy glue. Since I've been forgetting to buy it for over a year now, probably never going to happen.

I too have done this on mine.

Never had problems with that myself. How did you go about cutting them off? I find a nice razor blade is good. If you are really into it you can further clean it up with some super fine sandpaper. I never did model making or Warhammer etc. but have a friend who does and he seems to be able to get the connection points to be invisible. Maybe some of the pros or semi-pros can help out with their experience?

same problem here leaves very ugly marks :/ But I recieved them

It def. helps to have some model tools handy with LA's weapons. I use a pair of cutters specifically designed to cut objects out of a sprue, and it works very well!
