Another custom from me....

Post by Legolas »

Hello everybody,

Wanted to show off another helmet I've been working on, well actually it's just a visor....

ImageImage

Ok before everyone runs and grabs the tar and feathers, thats not a modified "375 visor" however thats what I modeled it after. I wasn't going to pay $9.00 for one off of bricklink so I just made my own. Also those are not white feather plumes, they were red just painted them white.

Infact the only rare piece is the classic Helmet that the visor is attached to.....

Well let me know what you think..

Well in that case, that it isn't a rare piece... that is AWESOME!!! :D :D :D I looks so much like the 375 one. You could easily make those visors and not have to pay. Great work. Man, I wish I had that talent. Amazing. 8)

Can you donate 1 in blue, 1 in yellow, and 1 in red for me?

*Disappointed at being foiled, put's away tar and feathers*

*Begins sulking*

J/K! :D

Seriously though, I wondered for a moment when I saw the pic. I thought that it looked a little wide, but it looked almost perfect.

I dunno about the feathers though. Looks too fantastical for my taste. (I my be a Tolkienoholic, but my tastes lead towards the medieval and the mythical rather than the fantastical, although I do use several elements from there.)

(blows a few feathers from the keyboard and puts teh lid back on his tar)

Man when I first saw it I thought you had destroyed a old visor. I just about blew a fuse.

Looks totally awesome. I think you should go into the market and sell normal visiors and other rare pieces you could make. You'd be rich.
I build, therefore I am.
