Light yellow female hair

Post by Enki »

Hi, I'm new here and I wanted to know if someone has used the new light yellow hair from the Indiana Jones sets (Elsa and Willie long version) on custom medieval females minifigs. Before getting some of the Indy hair, I'd like to know if they look weird or not on yellow heads (If someone has a picture, it would be appreciated ^^).

I thought I may as well add a link to the page so you can see the larger image.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Now that this has been brought up I have to say that LEGO made a smart move by using the lighter yellow for hair pieces.

I used Elsa's hair on this head: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bp02 (yellow), and all my friends thought it looked disgusting, but I'm not quite sure...

Thanks Ye Olde Republic, this version looks good indeed.

Mystuffiscool, do you have a picture for the longer "disgusting" Elsa hair ? I would like to make a Galadriel-like custom and I'm still not sure wether I should go with the long straight version or the curlier / sultry version (or just get the long tan hair from the Harry Potter Death Eaters).

The Elsa hair is in the Venice Canal Case set. More specifically, here is the piece: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/85974 (It's backwards in the pic for some reason :? )

If you can afford the Elsa hair go for it because, in my opinion, the tan Dumbledore hair is just so.....icky/skaggy/greasy by comparison. Personally, I'd be OK if they never produced another tan hair again. :D
My new pirate sigfig also has the light yellow hair on a yellow head:

I know right? Don't worry, he's known to make women and men swoon, so you aren't the first.

Woah... Awkward... :eyebrows:
I am an alien, here to eat you all, regurgitate you, gingerly poke your remains, and then devour them. FUN, RIGHT?!

This is off topic, unneccesary and irrelevant. Please stay on topic of the light yellow hair with the yellow heads. This is the second time I've seen you posting like the forum is a chat room. If what you have to say is not relevant to the topic at hand and is just an attempt at humor or the like, take it to a private message or don't post it. Because you could easily get a topic locked with these kinds of comments.
