Keeper of the Key

Post by mystuffiscool »

Here is a pretty quick 'fig made with Unknown Artist's awesome Hooded Robe:

Not much, but I hope to use this amazing robe for more advanced 'figs later!

Thanks,

I was admiring your fig as a matter a fact, before I found this forum. Nicely done, and is the robe worth the high cost? I was thinking of getting a few... Oh and what does the key unlock? :eyebrows:

Sorry for the late reply.

The robe is quite worth it, very high quality, the arms are a bit hard to get in, but otherwise awesome. I actually separated the fabric from the glue and am using it as a template for a robe in another color for CCCVII.

I had a vague idea that this guy was in cahoots with the Forestmen, and he determined who could enter and/or leave the vast forest. Somewhat like Gilderien in Inheritance. But a bit more mundane. So then, the key unlocks the gates to the realm of the Forestmen. But The Keeper of the Key was intended to leave it mostly to the viewer, as that was only my perception.

Thanks,

Thanks! Very cool, and I also enjoy leaving things somewhat up to the viewer. Hmmm, yes the figure does seem to fit in with the Forestmen well. Pretty cool!

Good job! But you could add a decal to the minifig.

Meh. As I said, it was a quick 'fig, and I just threw together some suitable parts. I don't have a suitable printing device, and I just made this for the robe anyway.

Thanks for the feedback!
