Lego meets papercraft

Post by jdarlack »

This product looks promising for custom work:

Lego for MUJI Paper and Block Sets (Japanese site - link to Google Translate)

The product features a hole punch that fits standard Lego studs. I can see this being useful in putting together paper and fabric customs (e.g. sails, capes, hoods, etc.).

I'm interested in the holepunch, but are you sure it can cut through fabric? My own holepunch can't, and the fabric I use is thin. Plus the aim of it is a crucial part of it, but in this case it looks okay.

I think I'll explore this further...it could, indeed, be useful.

Very interesting! This is an actual LEGO (sanctioned?) product so this may open a world of possibilities to us.
On a side note...the internet in 2009 still can't do a better translation than "Your base are belong to us."? Still, really?

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!
