Nice work Red Bean, they seem almost serene. It would be a pity to take such lovely shields into battle and have them all chopped up. Of course it would be fun to take them into battle and have them all chopped up. Then you could print more and they would be all shiney and new again. Hmm I seem to be a bit off his morning. :? Anyway I really like the shields, esp. the firt one. Thanks for sharing,

Will

Dr. Imrahil, I presume?

These look great!

I am only guessing that they for the Knights and people of Dol Amroth. (The Ship and Swan both being among their emblems.)

They are Dol Amrothian (sp?) indeed. The first 2 shields were actually shamelessly adapted from a Gameworkshop design, the last one I tried to keep to the motif and come up with something original... thanks for all the feedbacks and I'm always happy to hear someone like them.

As for the background to Dol Amroth, I'll leave that to Formendacil to fill you in

Ah who cares, computers weren't built to get off of. The shields look awesome. Dol Amroth is one of my favorite places in middle earth. I will have to see if I can use them.

I like them. Do you have any pictures of them on actual minifig shields? I think it would be cool if you were to use these in an MOC.

Nice work again Isaac! Do you have pics with a fig? The coloring is ideal. I am a life long fan of LOTR, but I don't have any Tolkien inspired figs. But if I did, this is where I'd start.
