CCCVII Custom Dwarf and Elf.

Post by Reeper »

Hey everybody!
I'm finally posting stuff after five years! Yahoo! :D
Anyway, here are my two entries in the Custom Castle Figure category:

The first one is a custom dwarf made by shaving the ears off of an SW Ewok, and then painting it to look like a person...a very hairy person. haha
Thus, the hooded Dwarf look.

The second one is a custom Elf. It's a bit simpler, but I'm rather proud of it.
I made it using the CW Obi-wan torso mixed with other assorted pieces. I thought it would be cool to imagine the elves making white armor similar to that of a clone trooper, only out of metal.
The sword is made from a LEGO scimitar that I cut up.

Enjoy.
Feedback is always nice. haha

I like the look of the elf-sword. Do you have more pics of it?

What did you use for the dwarf face?

Thanks!
Um, not at the moment, but I will take more pictures of all my minifigs and I'll make sure to take some of the sword just for you. haha

I just used standard acrylic paint use on model cars and such. You can get it at any hobby store.

Man, I do like that dwarf. :D
Hunched and beady eyed, yet no doubtly a feared axe welding warrior.
Congrats on now making customs!

That dwarf is hysterically awesome! I would never have thought that an Ewok could be made into a reasonable dwarf, let alone one that looks that good.

Way to go!

I like the dwarf more than the elf mainly because of the use or the other wise useless part

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you like it!
I just had a bunch of extra Ewoks lying around and I wondered if without the ears they might look more human, though still hunched, and they did! haha

Thanks! I've got a bunch more custom dwarves on my Flickr page (although none of them are as original as the Ewok one) if you are interested.

That dwarf is awesome, I never would've thought of making one out of an ewok. Great job.

Heehee. yeah,an Ewok would not have been my first thought for a dwarf, but it's a great interpretation!

Great Job,

I'm glad you guys like the dwarf! I was really curious to see what other people would think of it, and now I know! :D
