Unicorn
This was just begging to be done, so here it is:
Close up shows a gap which is not really noticeable when handling it. I started by using smaller drill bits and then worked my way up to the correct size 1/8. My daughter assisted by using nail polish remover on the other printed parts. This horse was an extra and slightly discolored, so no real risk. I think it turned out pretty good.

Re: Unicorn
Nice simple work, though I'm not familiar with the horn piece. But why did you take the horse halves apart?

I don't know why you took the horse halves apart, but I liked seeing them. I never really thought about what they looked like before. And the unicorn is very nice. I like it a lot!

Re: Unicorn
Thanks for the comments. The horse in 2 halves was in response to a post a few days ago about how to take the horse apart. I had gotten busy after I posted this and didn't have a chance to post in that thread. The situation has since been remedied.

Re: Unicorn
That looks great! I may have to get an extra horse and try it myself - any reason for taking the body apart?
Re: Unicorn
Wow, the hole you created to put the piece in is EXTREMELY clean and smooth.
Fantastic work, Great use of those horns.

Re: Unicorn
Very cool! I did something similar with one of the viking horns, but this looks much better. I also didn't think about removing the printing. Nice work!

Very cool unicorn, the hole looks very neat, like it's always been there.

Re: Unicorn
Wow, this is absolutely fantastic! I have a couple questions though. What did you use to make the hole? Is the horn loose, or snug? And like what Kevin said, would you consider selling these at all? I'd love to get my hands on one of these...
Anyway, sweet customization!

Re: Unicorn
This is a great custom. I'm also happy to hear that you used a less than optimal horse to make it.

Re: Unicorn
Thanks for the comments For this mod, there was no real purpose to take the horse apart other than to show it can be done. I used a 4.8V cordless Dremel ($20 at Walmart). To make it look ad clean as it does, I used a smaller drill bit to start (3/64 bit), then moved my way up to 5/64 and 7/64 until I got the final size of 1/8. As for snugness, it fits perfectly. The viking horn works as well, but due to it being a harder plastic, it it more difficult to remove. I am contemplating trying a black one, but if the nail polish remover discolors the black, I might just end up with a spotted horse I currently don't have enough unicorn horns to consider selling any at this time.
EDIT: Was told from a reliable and very intelligent person that nail polish remover is a very bad thing to use. Go Brasso!

Re: Unicorn
Nicely done. What I did to make my unicorn was cut the lug off of the horn and glue the horn to the horse's head. I also removed the printing with 600 grit sand paper. You can't see that there was even printing to begin with.
