Series 3 Elves get a BF makover

Postby Quickblade22 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 5:39 pm

I was able to buy 3 of these guys. I criticize the big guys more often than not these days, but they did this figure right. So in the true spirit of BrickForge, I took a Lego minifig and enhanced his look with some BF excellence. I don't think these guys were hanging with Santa though. Enjoy.

The tan hair is just a painted Qui-Gon piece.

The pic of the figure with the yellow-tan hair would be a really good Legolas, especially with two elven short swords on his back. I also like the figure that has the helmet that matches his pants color. Nice job.

Wow. I will definitely be getting some helmets for my elves once I get enough of them.

hmm, i don't suppose a silver painted Shadow Knight helmet would look too bad on him? :eyebrows: I made a custom elf awhile back and painted one, it looks cool with that one head that is smiling and has defined cheekbones, i'll find it on bricklink and edit the link in for you in second :)
*EDIT* this is the link to see what head i'm talking about: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?col ... emID=47965

Same as before, but with the helmet painted with silver. The face is the one with the cheek bones you linked.
