That's it, get the thread locked. :D
Vallejo is totally a ripoff artist from Frazetta. :D I agree completely with Blarg. He might make good posters but to me his artwork lacks the feel of the original. Now of course I may be a bit biased, having grown up with various collections of his work around the house, not to mention all the books that had Frazetta's art work on the cover (almost all of my Tarzan books have his artwork) and being a rabid fan of the movie Fire and Ice (a must see. :D)
But Vallejo's stuff is just too shiney and pretty.
Boris: no comment beyond that you were too kind. Two of the games I worked on had to suffer through his covers, so I have a personal stake in this (interesting to note that he was stiffed on payment by one of the companies that commisioned him - Acclaim, but that is also the one that the original design was so bad that I couldn't salvage it to my satisfaction and my name appears no where attached, at my own choice).

Fire and Ice a must see?!? No comment.
Um - back on topic though - I would like to see a sculpey version of the horns. and maybe a bent fantasy "elephant killer" axe.
Yeah, the curved haft was part of the signature of the DD's axe. I suppose I'd have to make that from scratch, too. I have a big brick of white Sculpey floating about the house - assuming my son hasn't gotten into it - that I might experiment with this weekend.
Come to think of it - Fire and Ice would be awesome done in lego...
Shriek!

OK, off-topic, but, what is the Phantom-Warrior site? I was just wondering, I saw you needed to be 18 to go in, I was wondering why...

On Topic, Great helmet. It looks a lot like the Death-Dealer himself. :D

Does this answer your question?
The following pages contain my collection of pictures and art work . Some of these pieces are of an erotic nature, and some depict partial or total nudity. Because of these factors, if you are under the age of 18, or if it is illegal to view such material in your State, do not enter. If you find this subject matter offensive, do not enter. This material is not pornographic, but some may be offended by it. You have been warned.

I like the effort, of course all painted the same colour would look better. Short of making you own pieces you are as close as you can get here. Do you intend to include this guy in a story?

I had seen Frazetta's work before, but didn't know the name. Come to think of it Vallejo is very similar, but with, ah, well, you know

No. I don't do stories with Lego. I enjoy what others do along those lines, but honestly I'd rather just draw any story I had to tell. I have thought of processing the photos via Photoshop so that they look more like drawings or paintings, though.
