Custom Sauron

Post by Legolas »

Hello everyone,

Here is a custom minifig of Sauron from LOTR, made by a buddy of mine named Daniel Lopez.

Image

Heres a picture of the helm from the side it's a little blurry, but it looks really cool.

Image

As you can see he used some flames on the side of the helmet.. the Helmet I believe is a Dragon crest helm and the Armor is This armor. I will surely be attempting to recreate this in a couple days..already have some great ideas.. :D  ...

Enjoy

This looks awesome. The spokes or crests are a bit too high for my liking but is still a great peice of custom work.

Can't wait to see your version.

The bad picture taking isent giving it enough JUSTICE ;)

Great job Legolas. But I kinda dislike the shape of the helm. To messy maybe?

I will admit the helm is a bit messy, but not at all bad for a first attempt... I really like the idea of using the flames for spikes. He tought of something even I hadn't thought of yet...

by the way, the credit goes to my friend (Daniel Lopez) not to me  .

nice helmet dude. I also havent thought of that before. It'd be interesting to make the flames shorter, depending on what effect you want to get.
I think some clearer pics would be nice, but I know how hard it is to photograph lego, so dont take that as a complaint. :D
welcome to CC Sauron.

I think he is very cool. I like the length of the flame/spikes.

Oh. I wasn't giving him credit. I was just saying that the spokes on the helm could be a bit shoter is all. Great helmet dude. I really like it. Infact, the whole Sauron is great. Keep up the great work. Hope to see more from you soon.

Oh. and welcome to C-C man.

Welcome to Classic-Castle, Lord...er... Sauron.

Um, never mind.... we, uh.... don't have, um, any room for Dark Lords such as yourself....

Just kidding!!!

Great first job. The use of the flames is genius (well, I never thought of it), but I agree that they might look a bit better if trimmed down a quarter inch or so.

Not bad. But as someone said before, the helmet is a little messy. The spikes are also a little too high.
