I don't usually do this, but this forum seems a bit dead lately (or maybe everyone's busy with sculpey ?), so here's something for you all to comment on:
Denethor:

Chancellor of Gondor:

Eowyn:

I personally like Denethor best, I tried to capture his facial expression from the movie and I thought I did quite well in that; the chancellor is actually from the movie, too, although his face isn't. And Eowyn in her white dress I thought looks quite pretty.
Your comments please!

The chancellor can be found in this scene:

Apparently, he's just a minor character in the film. You didn't miss much

Great work again Isaac. I like Eowyn the best. Denethor looks good, except that I would lose the sword. Add a real sword, but I don't like deal "gear." I mean like the dagger stuffed into the ninja shirt. This surely represents a great deal of work, and the result is outstanding like your other stuff, well done.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the comments. The time spent on each character varies, but I don't have any actual number because I usually work disjointedly; meaning one day I'll be drawing Eowyn's collar, then I'd leave it to do Denethor's head or something, only going back to Eowyn in about a week's time. Due to this I am sitting on a bunch of half-finished designs at home right now, all wanting to be finished. But I'll try to get a swordless version of Denethor up soon. As for the 'Chancellor', since since the picture shows him on the top level with Denethor during battle (Denethor is in armor), I figure he couldn't be a civilian. But then I guess you can call him the minister, too!
Matthew wrote last night to request a Coronation Arwen, so if you have other requests (Lotr [either original or movie based] or castle-related), you might as well shout them here. I probably will never have time to do them all, but at least it'll be interesting to see what figs are people into. Thanks again for the comments.

Very cool, I have always liked your work.
Someday I will have to try out the custom weapons.
Look forward to the day when you release some armor items.

Those are really cool. I really think that you recreated the characters really well. Awesome.

Just a note: if you want to find a canonical (book-based) character for the 'chancellor' go with Hurin, Warden of the Keys. He's the chief figure from Minas Tirith after the Stewards, although he ranks a bit below Imrahil and some of the countrysiders. Imrahil, of course, is in the front line of battle, with the Knights of Dol Amroth!
