Hello

Post by Danarchy »

Well, might as well introduce myself.

I'm Danarchy, currently hoping to get a MA of Medieval History (with a dissertation about the battle of Wörringen, 5th of june 1288) so I will try to restrain myself from posting too much in the history-part, allthough I can't promise anything.
I live in Leuven (in Belgium), a city well worth a visit (bit of history, loads of cafés :D ).
I got back into Lego partly because of my girlfriend (she bought me King's Castle Siege :D ) and partly because I quite like the new castle-line.

Well that sums it up a bit, I think.

Ah good, someone who actually can claim to know things, and be right about them. Now CC finaly has somebody who knows these things. These things being any sorta Medival thing that the average 8 year old doesn't know. And I make this statement on the assumption that no one else here is an authority on Medival stuff, if I am wrong, apologies. Anyway, welcome to CC.

Agreed, I dated a girl from Leuven for a bit so I've been there quite a lot. It's a very beautiful city.

Welcome to the forum! I got back into Lego again in a similar after more than a decade this last year with a gift of the longboat from my wife.

I am also in medieval history. I cannot say I know much about the battle besides basics but have done some studies in general on war in the low countries during the 14th and 15th.

Welcome to the site. Can't see how another history buff here would be a bad thing.
