Happy new year Classic Castle!

Post by Aliencat »

Happy new year everyone! I hope all of you will build some excellent stuff this year!
I just wanted to say I really enjoyed 2008 over at Classic-Castle, the first whole year that I spent out of my dark age (I came out somewhere mid 2007), and I've learned a lot while being a member here and made great friends, so thanks to everyone who posts here and makes this community and the whole AFOL community great :D

Now let's build a lot and spend less money on food and more money on Lego for this upcoming year, and get those creative juices flowing.

Also, my new years resolution is 1280x1024.
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

My sentiments exactly! Although one would think that I, as a dog, would never agree with Aliencat, I must admit the idea of less food (to shrink my waistline) and more Lego bricks (to expand my collection) sounds great, I need to work on being a better builder with what I have and that's my resolution for 2009 -- well, that and avoiding spinach at all costs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Just about everything in this past year concerning Lego and CC have been great. The resurgance of chat has made me a ton of new quality friends, and I think my skills have improved by 22%. Too bad everything else in my life wasn't as good. I'm so happy this stinking year is over, and hope this new one is better. I hope to meet even more great FOL's this year through chat and whatever other method there is. There are quite a few members I'd like to know better that I've seen in the forums, and others that I might not have thought about that could be equally as great.

2008 was my first year on CC and I enjoyed it a lot. I go to the chat and forum on daily basis now :D
I will spend more time (=money  ) on my moc's and collection in 2009. I want to thank you all for all the constructive critisism and other replies on my moc's, making them only better!

A happy new year from the Netherlands!

For me this year wasn't that great so I'm going to make this one better starting with the Medieval Market Village! I also plan to get a better storage system as I'm getting tired digging to the bottom of a bucket to get one little 1x1 round plate. Cheers to the new year!

P.S. My New Year's resolution is 1680x1050, widescreen baby! :P

Lets hope the world economy is better in 2009.

This was truly a great year at CC. I love how the year ends with CCC6.

Amen to that! Hopefully with the changing of the guard in the White House and all of the fresh air associated with it will bring a renewed sense of optimism which could reverse the "dark age" economy we have been having.

Here's to a new year with more great LEGO and Classic Castle!
