My bedroom is turning into a kingdom

Post by KingDavid »

I thought this would be the suitable section of the forum for this, since it's somewhat of an announcement. Here's photo proof. You can click on the images for a better view...

I think I'm going to need another bedroom soon. The LEGOs are taking over.

I see lots of empty storage containers . . . looks like some sorting is in your future. :)

This looks fantastic!!

You've inspired me to section off my castle sets into factions. Atm I have three tables, one with King's Castle, one with MMV, and one with everything else crammed onto it. I'm going out to buy shelves!!

Fantastic scenes with DM and KCS as well, LOVE IT!
Lego is my first love, it will always be my last

That's not a lot of sets. Try to find a place for all of the castle that's pictured, add all of the agents, new pirates, all indy sets, a bunch of star wars, mars mission, exoforce, and city stuff. Not to mention our comic sets, and parts and more parts. Hmmm. It's time for a new house. But nice organization!

What do you do with the dust that accumulates on the Lego over time? That's a big reason I don't leave anything out in the open for permanent display.

Nice collection you have growing here! :)

Stone Goblin and I use big totes to store some mocs to keep out dust, though most just get torn down. We recently purchased a drop cloth, but haven't built anything massive enough to justify it, yet.

Well, I don't still have all my stuff assembled and displayed all the time. I just built everything I had at that time so I could figure out what extra parts I had leftover for building a MOC, which is still in the early stages at this point. Anyway, my top shelf currently looks like this:
