new arrival
Hei!
I've been reading the CC forum for something like a year, but only now managed to work up enough energy to register. I'm 25 years of age, working as a teacher on the west coast of Sweden, and of course I've been into lego castle for longer than I can remember. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate how alive this community is, and much enjoy being a part of it. Although, up to now, a very stealthy one.
To get up to speed: I do like KKII, 6086 would make the best new legend, and the Black Falcons is obviously the coolest faction.
Yada yada. Anyway - Hi there!

Welcome to CC.com!
What kind of castles do you like to build? Historical? Fantasy? Both?

A warm welcome from me too.
This is a lively community indeed. Some people here are posting day and night.
your post remainded me that I stil forgot to fill in my CV elsewhere on this forum, so I am going to do that right away.
BTW, don,t bother my English. it is a kind of translated Dutch. Luckily, nobody has complained about that, so far.
A very nice community indeed

My webhost went AWOL a while back, taking my beloved creations with him. But will claim a space for myself in the brickshelf one of these days.LEGOFREAK wrote:Lets see some pics of your stuff!
um. lego stuff. lets be really really clear there.
My primary concern when I build is to make my castles look cool, nevermind if it resembles anything from real life, wether it's actually defendable, or if there is no way to get to the 5th floor. That's how shallow I am.Lord_Of_The_LEGO wrote:What kind of castles do you like to build? Historical? Fantasy? Both?
Heh, don't I know it... I've always kept my castle lego around, returning to it from time to time, but when I stumbled upon this site my interest really rekindled. Especially when I realised that sets were still being bartered on eBay, bricklink and such places. Moments later my savings were gone. Finally getting 6086 & 6090 after all these years was a very special feeling indeed..Troy T. Anyway, thanx for the warm welcome, all of you!
Welcome to CC hope we have many castle.

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.
