I narrowly avoided a Mini Dark Age, so it is time to build!

OK, actually it's time to sort. And wait for Bricklink and PaB. But then it will be time to build!

Sadly, my Wizard's Tower is being disassembled, even though I never really finished it. I shall return to it some day when my Kung Fu is stronger. But I knew it was time once I started stealing pieces from it.

Never place a PaB order on Saturday night. By Sunday night, you're already impatient for it to arrive, but it hasn't even started to move in your direction.

Man, I ordered a bricklink order over a month ago, and it still hasn't arrived. Every day I go to the mailbox several times, hoping the mail truck has come, and every day I am soooo disappointed. I wanted stuff for BrickCon, but good grief, I'm starting to doubt I'll ever see that wondrous pile of black-and-white cheeses... (Sorry! It's just so painful waiting for orders, isn't it?)

Anyway, I'll have to go check out your pictures, and it'll be nice to see what you do when you maximize your kung fu potential.

My PaB order still says "In Process". I guess I have a few options this weekend.

a) Keep building. Leave an empty spot where the parts I need are going to go.
b) Keep building. Use a different color for the parts I don't have yet.
c) Put together the Death Star that arrived yesterday.

I vote for option "c". No use in building without all the proper parts when they'll be arriving soon anyway!

PaB order finally got here. My Bricklink order got here yesterday. Long weekend ahead of me, so hopefully I'll make some progress.

A few stats on my current project so far.

48 x 48 stud base.
A touch over 3 feet tall.
104 of these (and I need to go to bricklink for more)
378 of these (peeron says I have more than I have found so far, time to go digging. maybe I don't have to go to bricklink for more after all.)

Aiming for a CCC IX unveiling. Really wish I knew what the categories are going to be.
