Hi! :)

My name is Tria and I live in Germany and in Greece... (I cannot decide yet...)

I am new in collecting LEGO. I had many as a kid, but unfortunately only few survived...

I collect mostly and almost exclusively LEGO castle series or anything LEGO medieval-alike.
My initial plan is
to build four big armies (black falcons, modern dragons, modern lions and kings knights from fantasy era)
to buy all the main castles starting from 6073 and beyond before attempting my first MOC castle...
to make a huge medieval diorama

I like also some LEGO city buildings such emporium etc...

I have also started to collect military themed brick sets... Since there arent any LEGO military themes and I am not good doing MOCs, I also buy military sets from Oxford blocks, Enlighten, Star Diamond, Banbao etc...
I think that I am addicted to tanks... :tasty:

Until now I ve collected mostly modern GI JOE and other 1:18 toys compatible with gi joes...

Really happy joining this forum! :D

So, there is a competition...

We will resolve our difference in joust!
Choose the joust: 10223 or 6060 ? :tasty:

In fact I just completed the building of 7189...nice buildings and really nice civies-minifigs
I highly recommend it but definetely not for 60$... I think you can find it somewhere cheaper right now, due to the shops making room for LOTR sets..
I am planning to do a don quixote chasing the windmill dio with that set!

Now the only set I dont have is the Joust... but I will try to buy it twice since the result of merging two in one joust is really amazing!

When I manage to buy the sets, prepare for battle! :tasty:

Really? Why?? I mean, that now with the LOTR sets I expected the prices to go down for kingdoms...

Yes, also here in my area cannot find any Lego kingdoms... not so popular.. My theory is that the children in Germany like medieval stuff but they dont buy lego medieval... They buy playmobil (which also have some excellent castles, knights and sets in very good quality ) and also toys from companies like Schleich, Papo etc, which also have excellent stuff!! This castle of schleich is amazing! So, I must admit that Lego has probably lost the medieval toy battle! I mean all the toy stores carry any kind of lego (especially city) but none of them has a shelf for kingdoms! even the big stores!

I think that you may get used to the idea getting sets online and maybe looking for used ones.. I have noticed that auctions (at least in Germany) for lego kingdoms arent always so popular to bid and there is a chance to score sets in reasonable prices..
I have bought a vladeks castle for 35$ used but complete and in great shape with original box and instructions!
