Good luck going to Brickfest Tony!

Where and what is Brickfest? A local CC member meeting--where you bring your LEGO mocs to show to others?

Man, I'm such a noob.

Have fun!

Brickfest is anything but a local CC meeting. It's the Lego fan get-together of the year. It's held every year. See http://www.brickfest.com/

Also, for pictures of past events, see here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/searc ... stype=dfic

I'm sure others that have actually been to a Fest can tell you more.

Graynar,

Brickfest is an annual LEGO convention held in Washington D.C. Here are details. It's this coming weekend, so keep an eye on Brickshelf for tons of pictures from the displays.

There are other conventions each year, such as NWBrickCon in Seattle, 1000SteineLand in Berlin, and LEGO World in the Netherlands. Other smaller things as well, some times as part of larger hobby/comic/sci-fi/etc conventions.

One day.... ONE DAY! I will go to Brickfest... I've missed every one since I knew it existed for one dumb reason or another. Anyway, can't wait to see the results of this one. Have fun guys!

Well... the North American get together... I'm quite certain that Jojo- and other Europeans- would put something else first...

Next year, God and finances willing, I will be there.

In the meantime, good luck Tony, and I'll see you in September.

I second this, both the good luck and the part about hopefully attending next year.

This year was school.... Next summer it's Alaska.... But I think if I put it on my calendar for two years from now, I'd have a small chance of being able to go! Man, I'm so jealous of you guys who get to go.... :x
